Salt and Juniper: We are His

I'm Michelle. I'm a Latter-day Saint author and speaker.

I believe women should be real and brave.

Here is where I do that.

I wonder how much you and I have in common.

I hurt.

I struggle.

I wonder if I'm a fraud and a failure.

I wonder if the things I think and feel are impressions or just my own thoughts.

I wonder if I'm messing up my kids.

I wonder if I can be everything everyone needs me to be.

I wonder if I'm failing God. I wonder if I'm enough.

But, here are things I know.

I know God is real and knows me and loves me.

I know Jesus Christ lives.

I know the Atonement reaches beyond my deepest fears and pain and can make me enough.

I know that with Them I can do all things.

I know I get in my own way, and if I step aside and let Him lead, my life is better.

I know that I have purpose and He has a plan.

And I know if I keep my heart and eyes pointed in His direction, I'll be okay.

And I know all of these things are true for you too.

I hope you'll stay and hang out with me a bit here. I think we could be friends.

So, yeah, we should be friends.
